Living every day intuitively is a recipe for love, opportunity and success. How do I know? Well I have them all and can honestly say that the reason for this is my decision to live my life intuitively. I feel so lucky to experience such a full and happy life, but I also know that my life is like that because of the choices I make every day.
Many years ago, I was depressed, overweight, lethargic and everything seemed to be negative and going wrong. By then I was choosing to live logically using reason over my intuitive ability. As it was what we were taught to do at school, it seemed the right way to go. It was one of the worst decisions ever, for when I choose intuitively, things go well. When I ignore that intuitive voice, things generally don’t work out the way I’d hoped.
Living intuitively means using your inner wisdom to guide your choices, attitudes and behaviour. Intuition is the way you access that wisdom to gain information to create success, happiness and most importantly ease in your life.
So, you’re looking at your life and you’re thinking it could do with some improvement, but you’re not sure how to go about changing it. Remember all those times where you wished you had gone with your ‘gut’ feeling… when logic took over. Maybe you ended up sitting in traffic or missed an opportunity or made a big mistake. Ignoring your intuition not only sets you up for failure, but starts a never-ending circle of self-criticism.
Ignoring your intuition is like doing an assignment or looking for an answer and not using Google to find it quickly. You go about things the hard way, which usually ends up the long way. If you want to live intuitively, your best choice is your first choice. When you become still and ask yourself a question, take the first answer, the one that’s positive, supportive and loving. Ignore that voice that tells you that you can’t, you’re not good enough or you don’t know anything.
So how do you harness your intuition? Stillness is the key, perhaps through meditation, yoga, exercise or just staring at a fire or candle whilst taking deep breaths. It doesn’t matter how you find the stillness, just that you do. It creates the silence needed for easily hearing your intuitive voice. If it’s a struggle, look to courses that open your intuition.
